What Age and Level of Student do you Accept? 

  • Currently I am accepting beginning to advanced violin and viola students ages 6-18
  • If your child is interested in lessons, please contact me to setup a free introductory/trial lesson.

General Lesson Policy

Students are required to take at least one lesson per week (no biweekly lessons)

What are your Rates?

  • 30 minutes: $30
  • 45 minutes: $45
  • 1 hour: $60

Where do you Teach?

I teach in room M241 at San Diego State University's School of Music and Dance.

Directions to my Studio coming from Interstate 8 East.

  • Exit College Avenue
  • After exiting, turn right onto College Ave., then go up the hill for about 1 mile
  • Turn right onto Lindo Paseo.
  • At the intersection of Lindo Paseo and College (caddy corner to Starbucks) there is a parking lot.  There's a kiosk there where you can get a permit for hourly parking ($1/hour). Alternatively there is metered street parking.
  • After parking, walk down Lindo Paseo (away from College Ave) until you get to Campanile St. (you will see the KPBS building).  Turn right on Campanile and cross Hardy St., where you'll see SDSU's main walkway.
  • The Music Building is the first two story rectangular building on the left, immediately after the large green field.
  • Go to the far side of the building and turn left.  Take the first set of stairs to the second floor and take a left.  My studio is room 241.

How do I Schedule a Lesson?

Scheduling a lesson is done through an online scheduling service.

This calendar is updated in real time and reflects my current availability.

Lessons may be scheduled a minimum of 48 hours in advance.

How do I Cancel a Lesson?

Lessons may be canceled without contacting me by clicking the "cancel reservation" link in the email confirmation you receive from Bookfresh. You receive one of these emails when you book the lesson and another one 48 hours before the lesson.

If you must cancel a lesson within 24 hours of the appointment please call me.

What is your Cancelation Policy?

Students are required to pay for lessons canceled less than 24 hours in advance without proof of emergency.
