SDSU viola student Salwa Bachar was accepted and given a scholarship to the prestigious Bowdoin International Music Festival. Salwa will be studying with acclaimed viola pedagogue Ralph Fielding for three weeks and playing chamber music in several groups. Congratulations Salwa!

SDSU viola student Ana Valeria Romero was awarded the Sigma Delta Iota Margaret Swope Scott Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship is given to a San Diego State University music major selected for their musical accomplishments, superior academic achievements and service to Sigma Alpha Iota and the community.
